“When Anberlin rolled into Georgia on their current tour, they weren’t alone. With them they brought two fantastic opening bands — Foxy Shazam and States.
States started the night with their explosive single, “Time Bomb” from their album “Room to Run.” If you weren’t convinced of singer, Mindy White’s voice after hearing the first four songs of the set, you certainly would be after hearing the band’s cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” After a few more songs, the band left the stage to ample applause from a fired up crowd.
Artist Seshions got to interview Mindy backstage right after the band’s set. Mindy talks about (in a British accent) what she bases her lyrics off of, the lyric video to “Time Bomb,” what runs through her mind when she is on stage, her belief of magic and more. You can watch the interview below, and be sure to see States when they come to your city!”
