Tried a new spot today called “Secret Spot” in Huntington Beach thanks to RainyDayEmily recommending it! :) I got the vegan garden-nut wrap & Ky got the veg-turkey & egg quesadilla

It’s only been about 24 hours and I already miss California. Mainly LA, but the state itself is an award winner. I know people have mixed feelings about it being either ‘so amazing,’ or ‘so superficial.’ But regardless, I see California in a lot of different ways. It’s literally BEAUTIFUL there 95% of the time, and when it’s rainy or cold, you can appreciate it. It’s fast-paced. It’s exciting and inspiring. Everyone there is so carefree, or they’re completely focused. I think this is where the ‘snobby’-LA-stereotype comes from. Which is completely false, because I’ve met some of my most favorite genuine friends out there. I think most people are all just centered on their goal/dream and whatever they have to do to make it come true, or they’re so carefree that they can appear like they really don’t…..care. haha. And honestly, there’s something highly inspiring and addicting about hanging around other ‘focused’ people. It makes you want to stay moving and it’s really quite refreshing. That’s why it’s the city people run to. But everywhere has it’s pros & cons. So it just depends on who you are, where you came from, where you’re going. I love Nashville because it’s got the same kind of vibe, but in a slightly different way. I will always call it home, but I may just have to jump over to California within the next year or two. :)
